How To Make Money From Your Website
Filed Under General Info | Leave a Comment
With the fall out from the current recession hitting hard many people are turning to the internet in a quest to make some additional money. You can earn “big” money online – you just need to know how!
There are of course many ways to earn money via the internet. In the past experienced webmasters talked about finding a niche market and to then sell products such as e-books to this audience. This is something that used to work extremely well. In a way it still does even today however it seems like there are less and less niche markets to choose from. You can still make money out of selling e-books or audio books and a great many people do.
I know of a lot of webmasters who make a substantial amount of money from the Google adsense program. The amount of money that you make will be determined by the amount of traffic that visit the site (you can increase this level of traffic via web promotion)and the click through rate.
It is all about gaining confidence with a particular system. Once you have learnt all of the “ins and outs” of what it requires to make the money making scheme work then the world is your oyster - let the good times roll!
Another more common way to make money online and what that is becoming ever more popular is to find an online money making scheme. You have to be quite careful with this as there are many scams out there.
Now whichever way you decide to attempt to make money online will take a lot of hard and dedication on your part, at least at the outset. From my experience the people who make the most money online are the ones who work the hardest and are the ones that have the patience.
If you do your homework you will be able to find a “make money online scheme” that not only works but that is right for you. You never know this time next year you could be a millionaire.

Make Money Online - If You Are Unemployed There is an Answer
Have you been recently unemployed or has it been a long time? You know it’s not easy to get a job right know. You also know it’s not easy to find a job that is reliable. In fact, it’s almost impossible to do either one of these things right now.
There is a little trick to getting out of your unemployment. You have been searching for the wrong type of job. There is a way to make good money doing something that you like. It’s actually quite simple. You can make money online.
A second way to make money is to buy a domain name and then resell it. This usually means you are going to hold that name for awhile…and while you are holding it you are going to make money from the third method.
The third way to make money with expired domain names is to park them. In this case you don’t have to be in a particular niche, you just redirect the name to a parking company and you collect money from that company. The build a site and put some ads on it and whenever somebody clicks on one of the ads, you make some money.
How long does it take
Redirecting a domain name is really fast and easy to do. If you already have a website you probably know how to do this. If you have done any affiliate marketing where you buy a domain name then you have definitely already gone through the steps and you know how easy it is.
So whether you are redirecting to your own website or to a parking company it really takes about two clicks.
Let’s say the domain is registered with GoDaddy. Of course the process would be really similar with whatever registration company you are using. Within your account there is a place where you can change the Host Records or the DNS Records.
In the case of parking, you enter in the name server of the parking company you are using.
Bam! That’s it.
The worst part about making money online is that there is a whole bunch to learn when you first start. There is so much that you may not know how to get started or even where to get started. This is the reason you need to find a proven system to make money online and make sure that it is legitimate.
Experience Counts
Experience is the main factor that counts in making money online successfully. Hence it is always better to hear what the experienced online businessmen say before you start your own business to make money online.

Bryan Ellis on the Explosion In Virtual Real Estate Investing
Filed Under General Info | Leave a Comment
Bryan Ellis is widely recognized as a expert in the fields of real estate investing and internet marketing, so it’s no wonder he’s regarded as a founding thinker of the new phenomenon of Virtual Real Estate Investing. I recently spoke with him about this topic:
Landlords, rehabbers and foreclosure investors, take notice - you may soon be focused on the new concepts of Virtual Real Estate Investing. Everything from using the internet as an avenue to make more money in real estate to online games such as SecondLife seem to be included in the popular definition of this term. And the pure financial potential is staggering.
In order to figure out the truth of the matter, I sought out Bryan Ellis whose experience in the fledgling industry is truly impressive.
“I began using the term ‘virtual real estate investing’ in the late 1990’s when I realized the clear similiarities in profit strategies, regardless of whether the real estate in question is ‘virtual’ or ‘physical’” said Ellis.
One example of the parallels between virtual and physical real estate Bryan Ellis cites is the similarity between the monetization of domain names versus physical property. He points out that control of a domain name or even a specific web page is much like controlling a real estate property: “those assets can be monetized in similar ways: By selling them for a profit, by leasing them, by offering advertising, etc. It’s not even necessary to own a website in order to profit from it.”
Bryan Ellis points to the example of websites like HubPages, Squidoo, Google Knol, etc. “Each of these services allows any person to write an article or create other type of content, and then allows the author to share in the revenue generated on that page. It’s almost as if you’re renting retail space in a highly desirable shopping district, only you get the benefit of a ‘great address’ in the form of a well-known domain host like Google.com but without paying a single penny in rental fees. It’s a win-win scenario.”
I must admit: Its easy to see the parallels. For example, if you’re the owner of a desirable property, its desirability is (in a business context) largely due to its being in a location that is of interest to others. Similarly, ownership of a desirable domain name is valuable for the same reasons. Regardless of the type of asset, you can sell or lease or use any number of strategies to turn the assets into cash.
In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.
